Daxton is a shy 8 year old boy, who comes out of his shell when he is with his family and friends. Despite having Cerebral Palsy, significantly limited vision, and a seizure disorder, amongst other medical conditions, this young boy loves to be outside. He enjoys playing at the park, going on the see-saw, swinging, riding his bike, swimming, dancing, and playing tickles. Due to Daxton’s mobility limitations he and his family were struggling to do the things together they used to do when he was smaller. With the independence Daxton has gained from his amazing new Freedom Chair Junior, with the help of our wonderful partners at GRIT, he and his family are back on the trails – ready to explore all Calgary and the near by Rocky Mountains have to offer.
