At 9 years of age this very social little girl lives with her parents and 2 siblings where she loves to go out for walks, car rides and playing with her toys. She has epilepsy and is severely developmentally delayed. She is also deaf but has a cochlear implant; she is non-verbal and requires all aspects of personal care. She is learning how to communicate at school by using a picture book but also has excellent body language skills. She requires 1:1 supervision for her personal safety. Her favorite color is red, and she uses an adapted bicycle at school so would greatly benefit from her gift of having one of her very own at home for her to use with her family!
